The analysis of historiography works on the issues of financial policy of the Russian Empire Government in Ukraine in the post-emancipation-reform era proved the fact that only some certain aspects of this complex research theme became the subject of studies by the researchers. This theme undoubtedly requires in-depth and comprehensive exploration. In the dissertation research for the first time in Ukrainian and world historical science systematically and generalized scientific achievements of the researchers of labor were published during the 1860-2019 years. In which examined various aspects of the financial policy of the Russian government on Ukrainian lands in the pre-reform era, including a comprehensive study of historiographical sources on the problems of financial policy of the Russian government on Ukrainian lands during the First World War. The factors that influenced the development of scientific knowledge of the financial policy of the Russian Empire on Ukrainian lands have been clarified. For example, during the First World War, some scholars consider it too narrow to study the activities of financial bodies, so this topic has been largely considered in the context of general studies of financial policy or 20 financial apparatus of the Russian Empire in the chronological range from the post-reform period to the early twentieth century, which is often completed the outbreak of World War I. It is this state of affairs in contemporary domestic historiography that has led to the fact that the period of time 1914-1917 remained unexplored or considered extremely cursory. The analyzed and systematized material of diverse historiographical sources on the problems of the financial policy of the Government of the Russian Empire in Ukraine in the post-reform period allowed the author to identify 7 groups of such works and to analyze their informative content. Examining the state of study of various aspects of the history of financial policy in the Dnieper Ukraine by modern domestic scientists, it can be to state that, unfortunately, today, in Ukraine, there are no generalizing fundamental works on the history of financial policy of the Russian government in Ukrainian lands in the post-reform period. Among the least developed in the historiography of issues of the history of financial policy of the Russian Empire in Ukraine in the post-reform period, and therefore promising for further study of problems, we can distinguish the following: the study of various natural obligations of the population, which were not a negative component of state and local income in the feudal the Romanov empires, even in the post-reform era; and the questions of the day-to-day employees of financial institutions, their role in the cultural and social processes in Ukraine, and the attitude of the population to the representatives of financial institutions have generally remained out of the limelight of researchers.
